Tutorial How to Upload a Blogger Template to a Blog

In this tutorial , i am going to show how to upload the blogger xml template to the  blog (for beginner Bloggers).

There are two ways to upload the blogger template to blog,

1. Uploading the XML template to the blog 
2. Copying the blogger template code in to the Edit HTML template

I explain this two ways with the step-by-step process with Screenshots.
Note:  Blogger dint save your old template backup after uploading the new template.So, Before uploading the template it is suggested to download the current template (Template Backup) file, because some times you will got errors or if you decide to use old template , in that case you can use your previous template.

Method 1: Uploading the XML Blogger template to the blog 

First download the blogger template to your system, here are the many Responsive blogger templates download any desired template you need to upload and place in a folder like below.

Almost all blogger templates available in zip format so download and save in a folder

extract the zip file items and search for the xml Files (Blogger supporting the template files in XML file format only)

In this case I have two versions for the same template,  one is with featured slider and another is without Featured slider, select desired Blogger template

Now Login to your Blogger admin and select the blog you want to upload the template

Click on the template link

Click on the "Backup/restore" button at the upper right corner 

It will open a popup window like this  

Now browse the template  you save in a folder

Finally click on upload Button , wait for a while till the popup is disappeared 

Success, you successfully upload the theme and open your blog to see the new template.

Method 2 :Copying the blogger template code in to the Edit HTML template

This is the simplest process of Blogger template uploading

Open the Xml template in  notepad file just like above ( Rightclik on the XMl file and select the Open with option and then select the Notepad to open the FIle)

Select all and Copy the Complete template Code 

Now go to the Template option in the blog's Dashboad and click on the "Edit HTML" button and open the current
template coding 

Now paste the Copied code in to the text box ( select all and then copy or delete all coding and copy) . Click on save button) 

Success, you successfully upload the theme and open your blog to see the new template.

Problem or showing errors in uploading a Blogger template 

Sometimes you will get errors and Blogger show an error message after uploading the Blogger template, in that cases again upload the same template for two or three times if the Blogger will show the same error message my suggestion to Beginner bloggers is to just leave that template and go for another template.
